Applications

Applications We Use

Resinous Floors are often referred to as seamless floors.Resinous floors are poured floors built for functionality and aesthetics. They are layered systems which are applied onsite with each layer having a specific purpose. The layers enable each resinous flooring system to be custom in design and to serve the demands of the exact area they are being applied.

Resinous flooring also includes epoxy, methyl methacrylate (MMA), polyaspartic, polyester, polyurethane, etc.

Epoxy Floors

Epoxy is one of the most popular and successful resin used in flooring applications because of its durability and superior adhesive capabilities.

Epoxy has been an industry-standard in seamless flooring for decades. It’s widely known for protecting and strengthening concrete surfaces. Epoxy primers are still most often used for their excellent wetting, penetration, and adhesion to concrete substrates.

Polyaspartic

ProSpartic is a low odor, high solids, aliphatic polyaspartic coating designed to be used as a clear or pigmented UV stable intermediate or grout/topcoat. Ideal for “Fast Track” projects and for use as a seal coat over decorative finishes.

Tailored for settings that demand both rapid installation and enduring protection, polyaspartic coatings are known for their quick cure times, often rivaling the efficiency of MMA coatings. Unlike some traditional coatings that yellow or discolor from exposure to sunlight, polyaspartic coatings retain their vibrancy, ensuring floors remain visually appealing for extended periods.

Urethane Flooring

Urethane cement flooring is highly resistant to chemicals, and formulated to install quickly and consistently with an excellent wear surface and color stability. Cementitious urethane is the most robust product family for resinous flooring systems. Composed of cement, water, aggregate, and different additives, it is designed for excellent adhesion and wear resistance.

Polished Concrete

Polished concrete involves the mechanical process of grinding, honing, and polishing a concrete surface using engineered floor grinders equipped with industrial diamond abrasives. This process transforms ordinary concrete into a durable, attractive, and low-maintenance flooring option. For unparalleled durability and a low-maintenance surface, we strongly recommend choosing polished concrete.

Methyl Methacrylate (MMA)

Methyl methacrylate (MMA) flooring that is 100% reactive, fast curing, and high strength. Standard systems include both solid-color and decorative options as well. The quick cure time allows for faster installation and job completion. This is a win-win situation as it reduces downtime for the facility and enables the flooring contractor to complete more projects.

MMA resinous flooring systems are beneficial in many ways. Offering excellent chemical resistance, exceptional slip resistance, superior abrasion resistance, and UV stability, MMA flooring systems are ideal in many markets — both indoors and outdoors.

Acrylic Sealer

Acrylic Sealer is a single-component, low-viscosity, acrylic-glass, VOC-compliant solvent-based sealer for a direct-to-concrete application. Formulated from glass, this highly abrasion-resistant material exhibits a tenacious bond as a stand-alone, clear, sealing finish.
